Sotavento Cabanas

The place is amazing, it has a million bucks view, the staff are very nice and ready to help you in any way possible. The weather was good and the bed was the most amazing experiences comfortable and spacious . Even if out side is cold, the cabana was warm and nice.

The rooms were gorgeous absolutely beautiful. Each room has a hot tub. The lighting for me in the room was a lit a little bit dark but I gave this establishment a 0 no no no5 because the host was so kind and truly watched over me like a hawk. He was making sure that I was safe and that my every need was attended to. In general people of Columbia are among the kindest I’ve ever met. Row boats, kayaks and paddle boards are free to use . I enjoyed taking advantage of every offering.which I did The grounds are stunning with. I never knew grew naturally..

This small property on the lake was fabulous. The staff was super helpful and pleasant. It is had a beautiful view from a private deck, was quiet, and clean. The breakfast provided was convenient and good. I would recommend this stay to anyone visiting Guatapé.

We celebrate my birthday here for a few nights and this place is absolutely magical. Peaceful, calm you will feel like you are in another world. The views are breathtaking, it’s hard not to feel like you are in paradise. We had breakfast in the patio each morning greeting the day and ended each night with the hot tub. The food is delicious, and they have a variety of selection. The prices for the food are also incredible reasonable for room service. The staff is incredibly attentive and helpful. Making sure we had everything we need it. Communication is great and they help with transportation to and from the town and other attractions. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. We had everything we needed. The mini bar is fully stock. Take advantage and take the kayaks out for an afternoon paddle. Highly highly recommend This beautiful place!!!

The cabins at Sotavento were perfect for our family weekend trip to Guatape. Upon arrival, the kitchen had a delicious hot lunch ready for us. Despite the 3PM check-in, we were able to enjoy the amenities offered - including kayaking and paddle-boarding. Every cabin was fully stocked with beverages and snacks. The hot tub was spacious enough for couples to relax in. Even the showers were beautiful! Breakfast was delivered fresh to our cabins in the morning. Extra points for its proximity to town and the famous Piedra de Peñol! The receptionist was also very helpful with organizing transportation to both. Highly recommend this peaceful getaway!

Excellent place, beautiful landscapes. The service was awesome, great food and kind staff. The cabin was beautiful and well designed, full of amenities and really clean. The kayak was our favorite experience! The parking lots were big enough.
